Job Description

Join our passionate and dedicated nursery team, working in a nurturing, inclusive, and child-focused environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Early Years education while working towards a recognised qualification. You will be actively involved in the care, development, and learning of children aged 6 months - 5 years, following safeguarding and welfare standards at all times.

Day - Day Responsibilities

1. Providing high-quality care for children, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
2. Supporting children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
3. Encouraging and guiding children to learn new skills through play and planned activities.
4. Promoting and maintaining an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming environment.
5. Learning on the job while completing coursework and assessments for your qualification.

Training

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18-month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator – Level 3.

Prospects

Possibility of a full-time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
