Child Inclusion & Support - Immediate starts Full Time (Pay based on skills, experience and qualifications)
We are currently looking for support staff to work in a specialist setting based in Leeds. These schools & settings provide an education for students who can’t go to a mainstream school, because of exclusion, illness, or other reasons, and would not otherwise receive suitable education. The particular groups you will be working with will be KS3 and KS4 children that are in transition to these new environments.
You may have some experience and, more importantly, a passion for working with young people aged 8-19. The work can be very rewarding; however, it can also be challenging. Therefore, you need to be resilient, calm, composed, and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour in the school. Many students have challenging home lives and have complex communication needs, learning difficulties, or are autistic, and some occasionally present challenging behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
