Job description

We are currently looking to expand our Peterborough CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Practitioner to join our Team. This is a part-time (4 days per week), permanent Support Worker Post.


The teams work with young people with a diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability and provide assessment and treatment for Autism and ADHD. The post holder will be part of the assessment process and provide interventions to parents and children and young people diagnosed with Autism, ADHD or Learning Disabilities. The team provides mental health assessments of young people with a neurodevelopmental disorder and also psychological therapies for co-morbid mental health disorders.


The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team.

To work as a member of the neurodevelopmental multi-disciplinary team supporting school aged children with Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities, including offering appropriate support to their families.
