An established industry player is seeking a Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join their multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing exceptional mental health care to children and young people, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with various agencies. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing treatment plans, and supporting transitions for children in care. You will be expected to work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs at Oakhill STC within the SECURE STAIRS framework. You will provide guidance to the teams working directly with young people and liaise, as appropriate, with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals. You will support your peers and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative.
