Chief Product and Technology Officer
Salary circa £180,000 base per annum plus on target 20% annual award
About the role
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Chief Product and Technology Officer to join us here at Which?. The successful individual will form part of our Leadership Team reporting directly to our CEO, having significant involvement with setting and achieving organisational goals.
The CPTO will be at the forefront of transforming our product offering and technological capabilities. With the groundwork laid through recent re-platforming efforts, you will spearhead initiatives that leverage digital innovation and data integration to drive significant revenue growth and impact for consumers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the product and technology vision in alignment with our 2030 strategic objectives.
- Team Management: Lead, inspire and empower a diverse team of 110 professionals across Product Engineering, Product Management, Product Design and UX Research, Corporate Systems, and Information Security.
- Innovation & Growth: Develop and implement cutting-edge consumer propositions that generate substantial revenue and enhance customer experience.
- Enabling data as a strategic asset: Building and leveraging our data ecosystem in service of revenue and impact goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with Leaders across the organisation, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate prioritisation, alignment and drive initiatives that support organisational OKRs.
About you:
- Proven experience in delivering significant revenue growth through innovative consumer propositions. Please reference your commercial impact in your application.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading large, cross-functional teams (Ideally 80+).
- Demonstrable ability and understanding of the value of connecting and leveraging customer data.
- Extensive experience in B2C and B2B2C product development with strong insight into emerging technology trends and data-driven/data engineering strategy. Your background may demonstrate a depth of product squad experience with a solid understanding of technology and software engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to think long-term and align product/technology strategies that support organisational goals.

The interview process for this role involves:
- Pre-Interview call with Resourcing Partner
- 90-minute virtual Interview
- 2 x F2F interview (at our London Office). Part of an interview will involve playback of a pre-interview task/presentation we'd ask candidates to complete ahead of Interview
- 45-60-minute reverse interview with colleagues from the wider Product & Technology team
