We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead our people strategy across the United Fintech Group. This is a critical and strategic role that will drive talent retention, development, and engagement, ensuring alignment globally in our rapidly growing group. In addition to being a strategic role, the CPO will focus on operational efficiency within people functions both across the group and also to further enable our partner companies, ensuring optimal processes and systems to support scalability. About the Position

At United Fintech, our mission is to revolutionise financial services through cutting-edge technology. As Chief People Officer, you will be a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and playing an instrumental role in shaping our group people strategy. Working closely with the Head of HR, you will also be responsible for driving operational efficiency across HR functions to ensure processes, systems, and tools are aligned with the business’s needs for scalability. This role is pivotal to maintaining alignment between strategic goals and fostering a culture that attracts and retains top talent. Based in either London or Copenhagen, you will work closely with the CEO, the Head of HR, and partner company executives to drive group-wide success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute people strategy to support business growth and create a high-performing culture across the group.
  2. Culture & Engagement: Shape and foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values and ensure employee engagement. Develop and implement initiatives to retain talent across the group and promote Diversity & Inclusion, career mobility, and growth opportunities across the group.
  3. Compensation & Benefits: Co-create the design and execute a globally aligned incentive program.
  4. Leadership Development: Create and implement leadership development programs that support the growth of both emerging and established leaders across the group. Coach and be a trusted partner to the executive team.
  5. Integration of Partner Companies: Oversee the smooth transition of partner companies into the group, maintaining strong engagement from the onboarding process through to full integration.
  6. Part of Something Bigger: Promote a unified mindset and foster a collective group effort, ensuring that employees feel part of a larger mission. Provide clarity on “what comes next” for employees post-transition.
  7. Operational Efficiency: Lead the optimization of people-related processes, ensuring that HR functions are lean, scalable, and equipped to handle rapid growth. Implement tech tools and systems to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and support the business’s global expansion.
  8. Data & Tech: Report on human resource-related data to support senior management with insights to the organization. Think lean and practical and implement tech tools for efficiency gains.
  9. Compliance: Ensure operations comply with employment laws and policy requirements.

Role Requirements

  1. Proven experience in a strategic HR or CPO role, preferably within a fast-growing, global organisation.
  2. Strong background in strategic leadership and organisational development.
  3. Demonstrable experience of cultural alignment and harmonisation.
  4. Expertise in talent management, leadership development, and culture-building initiatives.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate across the organisation, including employees, leaders, and C-level.
  6. Understanding of financial services or fintech is a plus.
  7. Copenhagen or London-based with expected travels across multiple global locations.
