The Chief Operating Officer will provide effective leadership and delivery of all our services, clinical processes and systems to deliver safe outstanding care and will ensure the workforce is led and managed and contributes to making Sheffield Health and Social Care a great place to work.
This role will lead operational delivery by making best use of all of resources and driving maximum value to ensure safe high-quality and person-centred care, with particular attention to the delivery of our agreed performance targets and outcomes, value for money and the effective and professional leadership of the largest part of our workforce.

Infection prevention and control: You are expected to comply with the Trust's Infection Prevention & Control policies and conduct themselves in such a manner as to minimize the risk of causing healthcare associated infections.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
