As the Chief Operating Officer, you will join our senior leadership team to drive our strategic aims forward. You will lead on creating policies and procedures which improve our operational efficiency and ensure compliance with various regulations. You will support the Community Engagement Lead, Radical Change Lead and Workforce Development Lead to deliver on our five-year strategic objectives.

What will I be doing?
Collaborating with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and implement the charity's strategic plan Providing leadership and direction to the Community Partnership Lead, Workforce Development and Training Lead, and the Radical Change Lead Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the charity, ensuring efficient and effective delivery Working with our HR advisor to implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Managing resources effectively, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial management Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members, partners, funders, and community organisations. Representing the charity at external events and meetings, advocating for the needs and perspectives of the recovery community.
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a charity or similar organisation. Experience in operational management, including budgeting and financial oversight. Track record of successful team management and development. Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills. Strong decision-making abilities, with the capacity to make difficult decisions in the best interest of the charity. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Competence in advocating for community involvement in service delivery and decision-making.
