Job Purpose: The Chief Officer position brings a fantastic opportunity to lead a new management structure, driving improvement and service excellence across the organisation. Key to leading and managing the strategic direction of planning services and economic development in the Highlands, this role will be crucial in shaping the future growth and sustainable development of the Highlands, fostering a vibrant economy, and enhancing the quality of life for our communities.

We are seeking a highly progressive and motivated Chief Officer who will develop high performing teams to drive service improvements. You will play a key role in Highland Council’s senior leadership team, working collaboratively in the Place Cluster and across the Council to ensure corporate and place priorities are delivered.
