Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy, Planning & Implementation - UK. We’re hiring! Aon is currently recruiting a Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy, Planning & Implementation to join our team in the United Kingdom. The Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy, Planning & Implementation will be primarily responsible for supporting the UK Chief Operating Officer and working with the Business Services Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives and projects across the UK.

About the Role

Your impact as a Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy, Planning & Implementation:

  1. Leading a team of colleagues responsible for Governance and Implementation of key initiatives across the UK.
  2. Engaging and aligning with Global ABS Chief of Staff to ensure communication is optimised globally and across the UK ABS community.
  3. Convening, leading or supporting the agenda for the UK Business Services Leadership team.
  4. Working with Internal Communications to build the communication plan and corresponding materials to drive the strategic vision and priorities for Business Services.
  5. Leading campaigns to drive engagement, inclusion, innovation and connection across different areas.
  6. Providing support for the UK COO on our I&D initiatives to drive impact.
  7. Serving as a sounding board for the UK Chief Operating Officer.
  8. Partnering with the UK Leadership Team members individually to strengthen performance and drive impact.
  9. Leading research and special projects and assist in the implementation of programs that have a significant impact on the Region.
  10. Acting as a change agent and promote the evolution of the Business Services vision and strategy.
  11. Tracking and monitoring strategic activities to ensure goals and benchmarks are achieved.
  12. Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework.

About You

Your knowledge and expertise:

  1. Proven experience in a combination of finance, operations, and program management roles working in a matrixed, global organization.
  2. Experience managing and driving sophisticated projects to completion.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
  4. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
