As strategic partner and advisor to the CEO, the Chief of Staff will facilitate effective decision making, manage allocated projects, and ensure smooth operations of the Executive Office and Executive Leadership Team. Confidentiality, exceptional communication skills, and ability to navigate complex/matrix environments and multiple stakeholders are required. A deep understanding of the insurance industry, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of supporting C-Level executives are essential. This role serves as the eyes and ears of the CEO, connecting teams, projects, and critical business information for the CEO, ensuring meetings and materials are efficient and effective, and serves as a trusted partner to deliver against business priorities.

Key responsibilities include working closely with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives, manage priorities, and ensure alignment across the executive team. The Chief of Staff will coordinate the development of HSB's short and long-term business strategies, assist the Executive Leadership Team in monitoring and executing the strategic plan, lead and coordinate key projects, and work closely with the Company Secretarial function to ensure the effective operation of Board Meetings. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will act as a primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, identify and address operational challenges, conduct relevant research, and handle sensitive information with discretion. The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior management role, with previous experience supporting C-Level executives, and prior experience in the insurance or financial services sector is highly desirable. Key skills include strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent project management and organizational skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The Chief of Staff must be able to prepare quality PowerPoint presentations and reports, manage complex and confidential information, and demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
