The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will develop and lead the Information Security Strategy, enhancing the company's global data and security program while ensuring compliance with GDPR. This role is responsible for information governance and cybersecurity issues across the Group companies in the UK and Europe, overseeing the Information Security team. The CISO will ensure that all relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual compliances are met, including ISO27001 and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. The CISO will also lead the UK & E IT organization in collaboration with the Data Protection office to develop and implement the data protection strategy.

Qualifications

1. Certificate in Information Security Management (CISM)
2. Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) - Europe and US
3. BCS ISEB GDPR Practitioner Qualification
4. CIPFA Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS)
5. Desirable: Certificate in Information Practice Technology (CIPT)

Ideally, candidates should have experience in a consultancy, systems integrator, or outsourcing environment. Note that the position requires in-office attendance at least one day a week, so candidates must be based near West Midlands or Hampshire.
