The responsibilities of the role focus on financial planning, procurement, governance, and performance management.
The role is also responsible for the organisation's group accounting and consolidation of complex and specialist accounting arrangements including overseas operations, foreign joint ventures, UK wholly owned subsidiaries, and joint development vehicles, including other innovative commercial and intellectual property considerations.
As a voting board member, the post holder will be expected to work as part of a cohesive team, contributing to the Trust's strategic leadership and direction and, where necessary, take the lead for corporate issues outside their immediate sphere of responsibility.
