Chief Executive Officer

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently partnering a Global Industrial Automation Organisation in the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer.

The CEO will be responsible for defining and executing the overarching business strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and driving financial performance across a number of individual business units.

In addition, the CEO will drive the planned significant growth and profitability by maximising synergies, strengthening market positioning, and navigating the complexities of scaling operations across diverse teams and geographies, all while steering the business towards a transaction within the next 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear strategic direction and leadership to the executive team, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s vision and goals
• Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company’s mission, vision, and long-term objectives
• Drive revenue growth by expanding existing markets and identifying new market opportunities, both here in the UK and overseas
• Work closely with the investors on M&A activity, including target identification
• Lead the integration of the businesses, ensuring alignment of business processes, systems, and cultures
• Develop and manage the company’s budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability
• Monitor and optimize EBITDA to enhance financial performance
• Oversee management of working capital to ensure liquidity and efficient use of company resources
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage investment, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners

The successful candidate will have proven CEO/MD experience with a track record of business growth within the Industrial Automation or Electronic Controls Manufacturing Sectors.

You will have led multi-entity businesses of scale and have significant international M&A experience.
