Job SummaryWe are looking to recruit a dynamic band 7 Cardiac Physiologist for cross site work for maternity cover. This is for advanced non-invasive cardiology diagnostics, in particular Echocardiography.
We are a friendly British Society of Echocardiography accredited department and offer a full echo service including routine transthoracic studies, contrast, 3D, transoesophageal echo and stress echo (both Dobutamine and Exercise) on both sites. We also offer a physiologist led stress echo and valve clinic service.
All applicants should have completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) and have BSE accreditation (or equivalent).
Main duties of the jobAt band 7 level you will have extensive experience as Senior Cardiac Physiologist. You will be confident scanning and reporting independently and be looking to advance your clinical and leadership skills. You will be active in the training and development of junior staff to achieve BSE accreditation. You will also be keen to develop your own skills in complex procedures such as TOE, stress echo (including physiologist led exercise stress echo) +/- valve clinic. Further training will be offered where required.

Person SpecificationQualifications Essential- The successful candidate must have a BSc Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
