Venn Group Chief Architect – Skynet (SC Cleared)
6 Month Contract
Bristol – Hybrid
Rate DOE (Inside IR35, Umbrella)

Our client requires a Chief Architect to join them on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic technical direction of the ground infrastructure (network management systems, satellites, secure data handling)
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and MOD
• Define and maintain end-to-end architectural framework for the ground segment
• Lead the integration of ground segment components with satellite constellations and military communications network
• Design and implement a technology roadmap that supports modernizations including emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, cloud)
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams including systems engineers, network and cybersecurity experts

Skills Required:

• Significant years of experience in satellite communications or related telecommunications architecture
• Extensive experience and knowledge of satellite ground station infrastructure, RF systems, network management systems, and satellite communications
• Proven track record of engaging with senior military and government stakeholders as well as external industry partners
• Experience leading large-scale technical programs or architecture teams within a defence or high-security environment
