A Day in the Life of a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse:

Join our team as a Chemotherapy Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of oncology patients. Your core responsibilities include:

1. Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for oncology patients.
2. Providing IV chemotherapy administration and ensuring safe home treatment.
3. Educating and training patients (or carers) to self-administer medications.
4. Performing dressings, blood transfusions, and monitoring patient well-being.
5. Acting as the bridge between patients and their hospital care team.
6. Delivering professional care with empathy and expertise.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. NMC-registered RGN with a Chemotherapy delivery qualification.
2. Experience in administering oncology medication and IV therapy.
3. Strong understanding of NHS patient management and treatment pathways.
4. Excellent communication and patient care skills.
