Chemical Project Engineer

Location: Northampton NN1

Salary: 30K to 38K

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

We are working with a client looking for an adaptable and responsible Chemical Project Engineer/Project Manager with good knowledge of Engineering and Health & Safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge of design, management of change, HAZOP management, Health & Safety, operational procedure management & writing, risk assessments, lab management, asset register set-up & management, and COMAH preparation work.
2. Good knowledge of preparation for COMAH compliance.
3. Working knowledge of updating and creation of system P&IDs.
4. Setting up and management of the Asset Register to plan and manage preventative maintenance.
5. Operational Procedure and Work Instruction planning & writing.
6. Management of Change introduction.
7. HAZOP requirement identification and management.

Management utilizing the technical skills acquired and developed through a strong, chemically based education. Sales experience would be useful providing Engineering, Safety, and Management experience.

Requirements:

1. Full driving license and own car essential.
