Job description

We're looking for a Chemical Engineer to join a well-established chemical manufacturing business. If you've got a few years of industry experience and want to get stuck into process improvements, plant modifications, and technical problem-solving, this could be a great fit.

The Role:

  1. Lead plant modifications, from design to commissioning.
  2. Carry out hazard assessments and HAZOPs.
  3. Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  4. Work with project engineers on plant design and costing.
  5. Support process improvements and new developments.
  6. Provide technical input on safety, materials, and processing methods.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Chemical Engineering degree (essential).
  2. At least 3 years' industry experience in a similar role.
  3. Practical experience with process troubleshooting and commissioning would be a plus.
  4. Knowledge of COMAH, DSEAR, SIL/LOPA, and relief system sizing is a bonus.
