Salary: £42,000 per annum / 40 hours per week

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Chef Manager to join our dedicated catering team, who produce outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in this highly innovative corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

1. The Chef Manager will plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the company’s reputation for quality is enhanced with customers and clients at all times.
2. Adopt a hands-on approach taking responsibility for food production covering all employee dining along with an extensive range of pop-ups.
3. Possess an exceptional drive for quality and innovation.
4. Responsible for all aspects of food safety, Health & Safety and COSHH.
5. The Chef Manager will be required to implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and to monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets.

1. Have proven experience in a role as Chef Manager being able to demonstrate a track record of catering for large numbers while making the customer feel that their meal has been individually prepared for them.
2. Have a ‘big personality’ with great people skills and be able to lead, develop, train and inspire a large team.
3. Have a real passion for food and customer service along with enthusiasm and recognition that customer engagement is key.
4. Possess food innovation and development skills, keeping up to date with current food trends.
5. Have the ability to communicate at all levels.
6. Exhibit superb culinary skills.
7. Have a good financial understanding.
8. Be quality driven with high standards.
9. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
10. Have a 'Can do' attitude.
