Job description

Our brand new, state of the art central production unit caters for some of our smaller B&I locations across London. The team here supports our locations with homemade grab & go options along with various other offerings from cooked lunches to event catering. This is a full-time operation 5 days out of 7.

We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
  2. Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company's brand standards.
  3. Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  4. Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.

You will have the following skills:

  1. A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service.
  2. An all-round team player.
  3. Innovation and passion for great food.
  4. An organised Chef with attention to detail.
  5. Understanding of the basics of food cost and wastage.

Knowledge / competencies:

  1. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
  2. Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
  3. Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
