What hours will you be working?

Up to 40-48 hours across 5 days a week.

What you’ll be doing as Chef de Partie?

Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As our Chef de Partie, you will enjoy delivering excellent food standards always, to deliver our seasonal menus and daily specials, in a friendly and supportive environment.

As a key member of the brigade, you will have an attention to detail, ensuring all dishes are prepared to spec, and have experience of all stations with the ability to produce a range of starters, mains and desserts. You will also support your Sous and Head Chef with food ordering, stock management, and maintaining a 5-star rating. You will have previous experience, preferably in a fresh food environment. You may also be a commis who is looking to progress.

Your Pub

The Golden Lion is nestled in the picturesque village of Rossett and has lots of stories, in particular from its resident ghost – Old Jeffery! Now this site is very much a destination venue in the heart of the countryside. Serving stunning beers, wines and premium spirits alongside gorgeous fresh food, the Lion boasts a fabulous outside area - famous for events and festivals through the summer time and cozy times by the fire for when the weather's not great.
