Job Title: Chef de Partie

Location: Leatherhead

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year, plus holiday pay

Salary: £24,500 - £29,000 per annum DOE

As the new chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for a busy lunch service, ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. With a Monday-to-Friday schedule (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), this role offers a fantastic work-life balance.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll work closely with the on-site Chef Manager to create nutritious and delicious meals for the students. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting the Chef Manager with the preparation and cooking of main meals and snacks.
  2. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare meals for a volume of 200+ servings.
  3. Occasionally providing counter service and operating tills as needed.
  4. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.

  2. Experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably within schools or catering.
  3. Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
