Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Southrop. As a Chef at THYME, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing kitchen operations, sourcing fresh ingredients, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. You will also oversee kitchen inventory, adhere to food safety standards, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent culinary execution. 48 hour week.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills: Knowledge in various cooking techniques, recipe development, and food presentation
  • Kitchen management: Experience in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff and other team members
  • Customer focus: Commitment to providing excellent dining experiences through high-quality food
  • Relevant experience in a professional kitchen, including roles such as sous chef or head chef
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for sustainability and farm-to-table practices
  • Culinary degree or formal training is a plus
