As a Chef at Sodexo at Officers Mess, Merville Barracks, Circular Road South, Colchester, you're ambitious about culinary excellence, and we understand the true strength it takes to be a chef! You'll be providing this service for our armed forces personnel, improving their quality of life every day!

What you'll do:

• Assistance with running service/preparation/other duties of the busy working kitchen
• Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
• Working with the FOH team to drive service excellence
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
• Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard

What you bring:

• NVQ lv 2/3 or experience in a busy kitchen environment
• Basic IT skills
• Experience in menu production and confident input
• Exposure to bulk cooking
• The enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills

Package Description

• 35 hours per week
• 5 over 7 days per week - 1 in 3 weekend
• Early shift 06:15-13:45
• Late shift 12:15-20:15
• £12.25 per hour
