We're looking for a full-time Chef to join our catering team at Pendleside Hospice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cooking who wants to be part of a team making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, from preparing comforting meals for our patients to supporting our Meals on Wheels service.
You'll be part of a supportive, passionate team where people genuinely care about the work, about each other, and about doing things the right way.

Main Responsibilities:
To produce tasty wholesome meals from fresh ingredients, which reflect excellent culinary standards, whilst promoting great customer service with the aim to exceed expectations. To ensure your shift is managed effectively within the catering department and that the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.

As one of the region's principal providers of palliative and end of life care, we're deeply proud of the role we play, and grateful for the strong bond we share with the local community. Our care is completely free to patients and their families, but it's only possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters. Each year, it costs over £6 million to run Pendleside, with £4.9 million raised through charitable donations.
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Catering Team as a Chef. You'll be working 5 days a week across a flexible 7-day rota (including some weekends), preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals from fresh ingredients.
Beyond your culinary skills, we're looking for someone with heart someone who takes pride in going the extra mile and being part of something bigger.
