Chartered Building Surveyor (Remote)

NRG is partnering with Blacksons, a fast-growing, nationwide network of RICS-qualified professionals, to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor / Chartered Residential Surveyor. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote working, the security of a permanent contract, and the opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

Operating across England, Scotland, and Wales, Blacksons’ consultants support a diverse client base, including landlords, developers, insurers, financial institutions, and legal professionals. As part of a dynamic team of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Building Engineers, and Environmental Health Practitioners, you will have the freedom to shape your career while contributing to a wide range of technical and consultancy projects across the public and private sectors.

You will be involved in:

• Expert witness work

• Specific defect inspections

• Structural assessments

• New build monitoring

• Dilapidation services

• Schedules of condition

• Licence to alter assessments

• Party wall matters

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)

• MRICS/FRICS qualification

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Excellent and accurate report writing skills

• Strong technical writing and communication skills

• Numeracy skills and commercial awareness

• Ability to foster relationships with professionals at all levels

• Well-organised with strong time management and ability to meet deadlines

• Proactive and diligent approach with a team-focused mindset
