Law firm in London, which is respected for the work it does in Charity law, is looking to recruit a Charity Governance lawyer of 0 to 4 or more years’ PQE, providing support exclusively to charities and not-for-profit organisations. The team’s clients include some of the most prominent household name charities as well as numerous medium-sized and start-up charities, individual philanthropists, and corporate foundations.
The work will be varied and would suit someone with charity law or corporate/commercial experience who is enthusiastic about developing new areas of expertise and working within the charity sector. The role is principally advising on charity governance and commercial matters. It is a broad and varied role which will include:
Specific experience advising charities is not a prerequisite, but a real interest in the charity sector and a willingness to learn and engage in business development is essential. In addition to those candidates already working in private practice, our client is open to applications from anyone with a genuine interest in Charity law, including people with relevant in-house experience or who have come to law as a second career.
