Job Description:

About the Company:

Source EV UK Limited is at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, leading the charge in sustainable transportation solutions. As the UK enforces its 2035 zero vehicle emissions mandate, the demand for robust EV charging infrastructure is surging. Source is committed to providing the ultra-fast, reliable charging solutions essential for both individual EV owners and fleet operators, by delivering innovative and high-quality EV infrastructure projects across the UK. Join our dynamic team and be part of a greener future!

About the Role:

Source's charging hubs will be positioned in prime urban locations and powered by renewable energy from TotalEnergies and SSE. Several hubs are already under construction, with numerous others in the planning stages. We are seeking a CPO Hub Manager to join our dynamic and passionate team.

Responsibilities:

  1. This role will sit within the Operations team of the Source EV business, providing day to day operational support for live hubs, primarily aiming to ensure compliance with the PCPR2023 uptime requirement.
  2. The CPO Platform Manager will hold responsibility for charger on-boarding, setup and remote commissioning activities for new ultra-rapid charging hubs, engaging with our partners, supply chain and internal teams to ensure a seamless go live on launch days.
  3. You will also be providing on-going technical input/support for live hubs to help our Asset Managers optimise performance, spot trends and recurring faults and reduce overall lifecycle costs to the business.
  4. You will need to develop strong relationships with key internal and external partners, including the CPO development team, eMSP partners, data and technology team and customer service functions to ensure alignment and understanding of the CPOs capability and operational status.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  1. Demonstrable expert knowledge of CPO/CPMS platforms, including experience working with OCPP and OCPI protocols and operational charger management software.
  2. A suitable level of electrical engineering and/or electronics with an ability to competently engage in detailed technical analysis of faults across an electrical and software landscape.
  3. Knowledge of overall EV charging market development, specifically ultra-rapid hub business processes and principles; ideally with some previous experience in EV charging and ultra-rapid networks (although not a requirement; similar experience will be accepted).
  4. Proven experience in EV charger diagnostics and troubleshooting, you will be computer literate with prior use of software platforms, databases as well as standard MS/O365 software platforms.

Salary & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary & entitlements, vehicle allowance plus excellent healthcare, pension and wellbeing benefits, along with generous Life Insurance & Group Income Protection Insurance. Annual holiday of 26 days contractual leave, plus bank holidays, with enhanced maternity/paternity leave and benefits.

Location: The location of the job is Field-based, although you must be prepared to travel to Canary Wharf and other business locations as required.

This role is offered on a permanent Full-Time basis of 37 hours per week, 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Whilst this role requires consistent hours due to operational demands, we are open to discussing options in accordance with our ‘Flexible First’ guidelines.

As an equal opportunity employer, Source encourages diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
