Job Description:

Main duties of the job:

  1. Provide mental health support and care to service users experiencing mental health crisis.
  2. Act as the charge nurse for the unit as a key member of the Robin Ward Inpatient Team.
  3. Be responsible for the assessment of patients' needs and for the planning, implementing, and evaluation of the care provided.
  4. Lead on shifts on the ward and provide clinical supervision to junior staff members.
  5. Maintain excellent communication and relationship management skills, treating patients with fairness and respect while maintaining confidentiality.
  6. Be fully involved in ward rounds, handovers, and other meetings where patient care is discussed and reviewed.
