An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a dedicated Band 6 RNLD/RNMH to join their Learning Disability In-Patient Services. We currently have a vacancy for a Band 6 RNLD's/RNMH’s to work within the Learning Disability In-Patient Services.
The Learning Disability Assessment Unit (LDAU) is a 10-bedded assessment ward for people with learning disabilities currently based within the Carseview Centre. LDAU is a mixed sex ward supporting individuals with complex care needs.
Each patient we care for has a learning disability but might also have a crossover of physical and mental ill health issues. Patients in LDAU can present with behaviour that is challenging due to conditions such as autism, trauma, adverse childhood events and involvement with Police Scotland and the Criminal Justice System. Many of the people in LDAU have been in care for a number of years.
The ward is currently located with Carseview Centre however will move to MRH (date of move is yet to be confirmed), as a single site in Perth.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 of the UK NMC Register.

Hours of work are: 148 hours over 4 weeks. Fixed Term/Secondment for 6 months.
