Job Description

Provides crisis and pastoral care support to patients, families, and staff. Primary role is responding to evening/night/weekend critical care paging. Provides rounds on critical care units, surgery holding, etc. Visits and ministers to patients as needed or requested. Assists patients, families, staff and others to deal with life crises such as death, grief, and loss.

Qualifications

1. Masters of Divinity or Pastoral Counseling from an accredited seminary.
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
3. Clinical pastoral education (CPE) from an ACPE accredited center.
4. One year residency or greater preferred.
5. Must be ordained.
6. Denominational endorsement by a recognized faith group.
7. Certified by, or eligible for professional certification from an appropriate clinical pastoral agency.
