Change Manager
Offshore Windfarm
European Developer
Remote Working (ad-hoc travel to Poland)
Freelance – 18 Month Contract (outside IR35)
Competitive Day Rate

Currently recruiting for a Change Manager to join the PMO team of a large, offshore wind farm developer in Poland.
Reporting into the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for performing integrated change control, ensuring any impacts to the Project Baselines are captured, recorded and assessed prior to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the impacts of changes to the Project baselines are monitored and controlled
  • Continued management and development of the Change Management Process
  • Ensuring Change Requests are processed from identification to implementation in a timely manner
  • Maintaining clear communication to the Project regarding Change Management activities and the status of Change Requests
  • Develop and provide regular Change Management reports

Major Tasks

  • Upkeep and update of the Project Change Management Plan
  • Continued monitoring of Project activities to ensure the Change Management process is being followed (Attend Package meetings, engagement with Package Managers etc.)
  • Facilitate meetings with Package Managers for any Change Management related queries, i.e. Process guidance and completion of Change Requests etc.
  • Engage and collaborate with other project processes to ensure alignment and consistency (Risk, Planning, Finance)
  • To receive, review and process Change Requests, ensuring completeness, and that all relevant stakeholders have been consulted with.
  • Facilitating weekly Change Review Board meetings, recording of comments, communicating actions, and updating Change Requests to reflect any decisions
  • Maintenance and update of the Project Change Log – Recording Change Requests, updating Change Request status
  • Clear communication of Change Request status, and ensuring any actions from Change Review Board meetings are undertaken in line with relevant deadlines
  • Continued development of the Change Management tools (Change log, Change Request form, Change review workflow) to further optimise process performance.

Qualifications

  • Competence equivalent to PMI-PMP
  • 5 years of relevant work experience within wind and/or construction
  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience in project Change Management / Integrated Change Control
