Position: Change Analyst (Fixed Term Contract _1year)

We are looking for Change Analysts to manage and implement our change initiatives and projects. The Change Analyst will be responsible for identifying areas of change, impact assessing, mitigation of impacts and developing strategies to implement these changes, along with monitoring their effectiveness. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management, business processes, and change management methodologies. They must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and operate in a proactive manner.

Key accountabilities

  • Identifying potential areas of resistance to change and developing counter strategies to reduce resistance and foster positive acceptance and adoption.
  • Conducting impact analyses, stakeholder assessments, and change readiness assessments.
  • Creating and managing detailed change management plans, including communication plans, training plans, and resistance management plans for specific projects/products of the programme.
  • Working closely with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans- assigned to project teams.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders about changes, including why the changes are happening, how they will be implemented, and how they will affect others.
  • Monitoring and tracking the effectiveness of change initiatives, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Working closely with the communications lead to inform their planning including key messages, change narrative, user needs ‘need to know and need to do’.
  • Recommending and supporting project level relevant communications regarding change initiatives.
  • Designing change impact presentation slide decks to inform the programme and consult an approach to project change management.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Change Management Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle-working on projects.
  • Understanding and experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience of working on a global team (desirable).
  • An accreditation in Change Management (PROSCI, APMG Practitioner Level) (desirable).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and understand the impact of changes within an organisation, and to develop effective strategies and solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey change strategies to stakeholders and to facilitate open and effective discussions about change.
  • Problem-solving skills to address potential resistance or issues that arise during the change process and to find effective solutions.
  • Project management skills to oversee the implementation of change strategies, ensuring they are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and influence others to drive towards the vision and goals of the change process.
  • Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
  • Ability to navigate uncertainty, providing a steady presence and positive outlook.
  • Consulting & partnering approach and style to create strong working relationships that drive and support the change effort.
