Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

CGI Lead Artist - £50/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire / Hybrid potential - 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

Position Description:
A CGI Lead Artist thrives on crafting extraordinary visuals that captivate our customers. Skills Required:

1. Strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation image creation
2. Strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation animation
3. Strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation realtime

Experience Required:

1. Expert knowledge of Design processes in a Design studio environment and where Visualisation fits into this.
2. Strong level of experience in the creation of Visual Stimulus (e.g. Computer Generated stills/animation, VR, real-time)
3. Strong level of experience using relevant Design software (Autodesk Maya, VRED, Vray, Unreal, Adobe creation suite)
4. Understanding of CG Render pipelines
5. Strong understanding of Digital Material Creation and Translation processes
6. Excellent organisation and communication skills
7. Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
8. Strong IT / Microsoft Office skills
9. Strong Leadership skills

Experience Preferred:

1. Working knowledge in game engine driven pipelines
2. C++
3. Previous hands-on pipeline creation experience
4. Experience with Django/HTML/Java/CSS
5. SQL DB experience
6. Knowledge of our client's product portfolio
7. Demonstrated will and ability to improve and optimize production workflows
8. Relevant animation/rigging experience
9. Colour theory concept understanding

Education Required:
Expert in digital material creation using Substance Suite

Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and in Inside IR35.
Portfolio required as part of the application process. Strong, focused communicator with proven track record of applying logic and analytical thinking. Able to deliver consistent quality in a highly demanding environment.
