Job Advert Location Description: Priory Hospital Woking is set in idyllic countryside and yet is within reach of central London and both regional airports by either car or public transport. The hospital provides residential treatment for up to 30 adults and also has a strong day and outpatient programme which includes a range of therapeutic approaches. Opportunity to work as part of an MDT.

Job Advert Role Description: Exciting Opportunity for a CBT Therapist to Join Our Experienced Therapy Team! We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) to become a key member of our friendly, well-established, and experienced therapy team. As part of our practice, the successful candidate will provide individual and group therapy for adults, helping clients navigate and overcome a variety of mental health challenges.

You will be able to formulate treatment plans and be familiar with outcome measures. Working knowledge of at least one other therapy modality is desirable. DBT, EMDR or ADOS experience would be beneficial but training can be provided in these areas through our supportive CPD programme.

Essential:

  • Accredited with recognised professional body (UKCP/BACP/BABCP/HCPC).
  • Experience of working in acute mental health or substantial experience of working in acute mental health.
  • Specific training and experience in providing both group and individual therapy.

Desirable:

  • Additional trauma training and clinical experience; training in Mindfulness; training and clinical experience in provision of couples therapy; EMDR.
