Catering Supervisor

We are looking for a Catering Supervisor to join one of our client's teams in Wiltshire.

Location: Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, SN4 7HG

Duration: Temp to perm

Timings: 6.30am to 2.45pm : Monday to Friday

Pay rate: GBP12:36 per hour + holiday pay

DBS: Enhanced DBS issued within last 3 years

Main Duties Include:

• Overseeing daily operations of the catering team to ensure smooth service.
• Managing food preparation, presentation, and delivery to meet quality standards.
• Supervising staff to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Training and mentoring new catering staff to enhance skills and performance.
• Ensuring that catering supplies are stocked and inventory is regularly checked.
• Coordinating with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences.
• Managing the scheduling and shift assignments of catering staff.
• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Monitoring food storage conditions to prevent contamination or spoilage.
• Preparing and maintaining reports on catering activities, including costs and profits.
• Ensuring that equipment and kitchen areas are maintained and cleaned properly.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to plan menus and manage special requests.
• Maintaining budget control by managing food costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
• Ensuring that catering events are set up and broken down efficiently and on time.

Requirement:

Must have catering supervisor experience and enhanced DBS.
