Available Hours:
Permanent – Full Time – 40 hours per week.

The Catering Manager will manage the Catering provision within the home/scheme to deliver a quality service and to ensure that all residents’ nutritional needs are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the efficiency, hygiene and safety in the catering area, organizing and supervising the work of other staff working in the kitchen, maintaining the correct HACCP principles in all catering areas, and ensuring all legislative standards are met.

The successful candidate will help maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the Values of Methodist Homes, deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff. They will be a part of the Home/scheme senior team regarding implementing the annual catering business plan as part of the Home/scheme plan and will work with the MHA Hospitality team to help ensure constant quality development within the catering service.

Specially designed, every detail of the home’s layout is created to enhance the independence and dignity of residents. Oak Manor is a 64 bedroom care home that provides residential and residential dementia specialist care with features such as an on-site hairdresser, cinema room, and coffee shop.
