Job description

Location: Cornton Primary School Cornton Road Cornton Stirling, FK9 5DZ

Cornton Primary School is seeking a catering assistant for a term-time contract, Monday to Friday from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

A vacancy has occurred for a catering assistant who is motivated, interested, and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained. Duties will include:

  1. Preparation of food
  2. Basic cooking
  3. Food service
  4. Kitchen hygiene
  5. Health and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to the Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act

Experience in catering is not essential as on-the-job training and compulsory off-job training will be provided. You will initially be based at one location but may be required to move locations with appropriate notice as the service requires.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application progresses after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
