About The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. Working closely with colleagues in the catering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the preparation, service, and delivery of food meet the highest hygiene and quality standards.
This position follows a term-time only schedule, working Monday to Friday, 9:15 AM - 1:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with food preparation, following company recipes and storage guidelines
  2. Maintain high levels of cleanliness, ensuring both general areas and equipment are cleaned as per schedules
  3. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience
  4. Ensure external access areas always remain clean and tidy
  5. Follow all food hygiene and safety standards in line with regulations
  6. Participate in stock-taking and maintain accurate records as required
  7. Adhere to a 15-minute handover process to ensure smooth operational transitions
  8. Undertake relevant training to enhance skills and performance
  9. Consistently uphold company values and professional appearance, including uniform standards
About You:
  1. Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial kitchen would be an advantage
  2. Understanding of kitchen processes and food preparation
  3. Strong teamwork and communication skills
  4. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure
  5. Problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach
  6. Passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality service
