An established industry player is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for a hands-on role at a renowned hospital. We are recruiting for a part time Catering Assistant at Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital in Herne Bay, Kent. Experience within the Commercial Catering industry is welcomed. Contracted hours are 18.5 worked over a two-week fixed rota pattern. Option to undertake additional hours on staff bank after a qualifying period, as and when required. Fixed working pattern as follows which includes working alternate weekends and rostered Bank Holidays:

This is primarily a hands-on catering position where you will learn all the background skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role, e.g. food preparation and cooking, allergens and other dietary requirements, completion of HACCP paperwork, equipment training, and waste management.
