About the Role:

In this fast-paced procurement role you will source a range of medical devices, equipment and consumables from a global supplier base. Your responsibilities will encompass end to end procurement so we are looking for individuals with a well-rounded skill set, from raising POs and expediting supplier deliveries to sourcing new items, negotiating with suppliers and delivering cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proactively source high-quality products that meet customer requirements
2. Implement cost-saving initiatives through effective supplier management and stock optimisation
3. Manage day-to-day purchasing activities with precision and efficiency
4. Maintain accurate price lists and supplier information
5. Drive continuous improvement in cost savings across key product lines

Ideal skills and experience:

1. Min 2+ years' experience within a purchasing or procurement role
2. Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with suppliers and internal colleagues
3. Confidence to negotiate with suppliers and influence others
4. Strong analytical ability (intermediate level Excel)
5. Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
6. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet a variety of critical deadlines
7. A proactive, "can-do" attitude
8. CIPS qualification (including part qualified or commitment to start studies)
