Casual Waiting, Barista, Kitchen Porter & Event staff
Casual Hours (Daytime, evening & weekend, plus weekday shifts)
We are currently recruiting dedicated casual staff to help ensure the smooth running of the operations at the Design Museum on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week. As a casual staff member, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Waiting Staff – serving food to customers and clearing tables
2. Barista - Preparing hot drinks, serving customers, and taking card payments, knowledge of till systems
3. Kitchen Porter - Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchens and associated working areas
4. Event Staff - Setting up event spaces and delivering exceptional service to our clients

Our ideal Casual staff will:

1. Have experience in a similar role
2. Remain calm under pressure, especially during busy periods
3. Be confident and comfortable engaging with guests
4. Have strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
5. Be reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic
6. Have a positive and welcoming attitude
