Our recycling and refuse team work within the hearts of our Communities across Dumfries and Galloway.
We are looking for potential candidates within our communities to work with us on an “as and when required” basis to help us deliver this essential service.
We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require Refuse & Recycling Operatives at our depots at Stranraer, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Lockerbie.
You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be fully trained, and you will be required to work as part of a team.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.
You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and a full valid current driving license would be beneficial.
