Band D (SCP 5 - SCP 7) £24,790 - £25,584 per annum, pro rata to hours worked

Stafford Borough is a large district (230 square miles) with a population of 138,000 and the historic County Town of Stafford as its main centre. The Borough provides a mix of urban and rural planning issues, and a variety of new challenges.

This post will support the next stage of delivering the new Local Plan involving site assessments, data processing and research and evidence-based projects to inform planning policy development. Key Skills & Qualifications

• Have enthusiasm and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Be educated to degree standard in planning or a relevant related discipline
• Demonstrate good analytical abilities with research and advanced IT skills
• Ideally some knowledge and understanding of the Local Plan process
• Enjoy both taking individual responsibility and working as part of a busy team
