The Role

The Casual Female Football Development Coach supports the Female Football Development Officer (FFDO) to deliver on a range of Female-specific programmes including Girls Emerging Talent Centre, BFC Women’s Juniors, Girls Skill Centre and School Holiday provision.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To deliver high-quality Female-specific football sessions that engage, enthuse participants.
  • To engage, inspire and empower participants in female-specific sessions to reach their full potential.
  • To liaise with the FFDO, proactively promote Female Football Development programmes and carry out all meaningful tasks, when so asked to do, by the FFDO.
  • To undertake appropriate administrative duties in relation to relevant programmes, to ensure the smooth running of the project e.g. maintain accurate attendance registers and session plans.
  • To ensure that the health and safety issues are implemented in all areas of the programme.
  • Identify talented individuals involved in the projects and refer those individuals to appropriate destinations.
  • Work with individuals and/or groups from a range of diverse backgrounds.
  • To understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.
  • To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires.
  • To work towards agreed objectives.
  • Comply with all Charity policies.
  • Promote the Burnley FC in the Community brand and ethos in a professional, strong, and positive manner.
  • Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice.
  • Hold a commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum FA Level 2/UEFA C License.
  • Experience of planning and delivering regular female-specific football coaching sessions.
  • Full clean driving license with access to your own transport.
