If you have an interest in a catering career, particularly bar work with Fife Council, why not join one of our many teams within West Fife? We currently have several vacancies to join our busy team of Commercial Caterers at the Glen Pavilion, Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, and at Lochore Meadows Park Cafe. These posts are casual, working as and when required in either the Café or busy functions such as weddings and events in The Glen Pavilion.

You will earn £12.67 per hour. Casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked and have access to a range of benefits, including:
This work is about providing customer service in a busy catering environment. Ensuring visitors to the Glen are catered for accordingly – this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks, and alcoholic beverages to clients and recording any payments. On-the-job training is given, working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate or a Personal License for any Bar work. A 2-hour mandatory course is required for all Bar workers.
The Person:
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. Being able to work in various team dynamics or working on your own and being able to use your initiative is advantageous. You may be asked to work at short notice. Weekend functions can involve longer hours and late evening working. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
