Job description

CASS Analyst – 2 Years Reconciliations Experience Required

Ref: 4105G2

Our client, a global online brokerage, is looking for a CASS Analyst, to be responsible for ensuring CASS compliance with UK regulatory requirements by performing daily internal and external client money reconciliations and overseeing CASS-related projects and monitoring activities. Reporting to the UK Head of Compliance, duties will include:

  • Produce and review daily internal and external client money reconciliations within agreed deadlines.
  • Challenge and enhance internal and external processes to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Generate daily Client Money reports using automated platforms, ensuring all outstanding items are monitored and escalated efficiently.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in overseeing day-to-day CASS, safeguarding controls and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the annual CASS audits, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Prepare and submit the monthly FCA CMAR return and other regulatory financial returns in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with finance and assist compliance in monitoring tasks.

You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance or reconciliation role in financial services, including some experience in client money reconciliations with knowledge of UK CASS rules, particularly CASS7 reconciliations.
