Cash and Stock Controller

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide financial support to multiple company sites, assisting with sales, cash management, and stock control.
2. Analyse underperforming sectors by identifying financial risks and implementing solutions.
3. Develop and implement processes to support both new and existing business initiatives.
4. Address and solve cash reconciliation issues, ensuring risks are identified and escalated promptly.
5. Complete financial health checks across all brands, identifying potential risks.
6. Participate in monthly finance reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities whilst providing support.
7. Ensure compliance with site cash handling procedures while offering necessary support.
8. Train colleagues on key financial processes, including cash handling and stock management.
9. Identify improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
10. Represent finance in meetings with stakeholders.
11. Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as required.

Key Attributes:

1. Good understanding of cost of sales, cash loss, and stock holding.
2. Strong understanding of trading accounts - stock loss, bad debt, and cash write-offs.
3. Excellent communication and time management skills.
