Job Description
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Casework Support Officer within our busy firearms facility in Leeds. The role focuses predominantly on the management of forensic exhibits submitted by the police and other partner agencies. This will involve inputting accurate case information onto our case management system, and supporting our Forensic Scientists. Other duties will include a variety of tasks: general office duties, filing, invoicing, meeting visitors and dealing with customer enquiries.

Hours: 37.5 per week

The ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who can pro-actively work unaccompanied, manage their own time, demonstrate attention to detail and who takes pride and care in their role. Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work we undertake on-site, applicants should note that security clearance will be required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Security clearance is undertaken by a third party to police personnel vetting standards (NPPV3 and SC), as such any criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
